I : MACY's Day Parade !

assalammualaikum ! 

aiyoooo .. it has been a while since my last post ! aloiiiiiiiiii *Auntie May's remarks*

hope everyone is doing great ! gosh it has been the busiest time of my life ! work & prep for the day .. aiyooooo .. it is so stressful man ! 

to add up some spice to my busy schedule , my Old Man , Abah fell sick and was admitted to Hospital Ampang for almost a month ! it was really a tough time for me & family ! especially when i had to juggle my time for work , fetching mama , taking care of Abah in his 'new hotel' & preparing for the E Day .. hectic life ! it was an excruciating moment when you had to see your dear parents lying on the bed helplessly & restlessly .. pity Abah .. right after Abah was discharged , Mama was admitted due to high sugar ! owemji .. ! another bang on my face ! anyway , there's always blessings in disguise right ? we're seeing it the +ve way ! she had to stay there for 1 night & was discharged the next day .. Alhamdulillah , at least me & my siblings got the golden chance to serve our parents when they're still alive .. who got the chance to change adult diaper for their sick parents ? not many got the chance .. :) we're truly blessed by Allah SWT .. I am blessed with BFFs, Rina, Ikah, Farrahayati & Rinie & great BF, Ashek! Staying there & being patient with me & my temper during this hard times. Thanks a bunch! Love u both! May Allah repay every single deeds! ;) 

One great news to share with all is that Afiq, my one & only nephew is having a new younger sister! My SIL delivered a beautiful baby girl few days back. So now, my parents are proud grandparents for a boy & a girl! They're super excited! Ehiks. They still hasn't got the chance to hold the girl as my SIL is in Kedah for the confinement. They must be very anxious to hold the girl! ;) I am excited to meet my dear Amni later on! She has to be as comel as I am! Bubbly little creature ;)

Macy's E Day is NEXT WEEK! A week to go! Owemji. How should i feel? Hmm its anxious, excited, nervous & happy all in 1 bowl! The time is coming right up! And i am still struggling with my door gift! This weekend is going to be a hectic one! Driving here & there to buy additional stuffs for the d/gift & Mama's stuffs. 

Last week, Rina accompanied me to get veil for my E. As much as I hate Jalan TAR, I've got no choice! I really had to go & get there so that I can buy my own veil so that I look a little bit va va during that day! *overreacting huh?* #Thanks Rina!#

For the food, I decided to get the service from CtCreativeDesign too apart from just the hantaran. I am ordering 'pulut kuning' as well for my parents 30th wedding anniversary! i'll get them to cut the 'pulut kuning' as a symbolic tp the anniversary! ;) 

My Kebaya Klasik is a poor thing! The tailor has been sewing it to a smaller size! Well, I fit in quite nice, but I fear that other eyes looking at it as being so tight! That is me, always live to please people! When I know very well that, human being will always talk talk talk whether they're satisfied or not. I've put on that kebaya & showed it to Rina, she said it was A-OK! OK, to make sure that I don't appear bulgy here & there especially the tummy area, I bought Cosway 1 set corset & girdle! Owemji. Never thought that I would have to suffer to look good in front of people. Its the crazy fact huh? Hehe! Has been wearing this corset every single day from the day I bought it! Ohhhhh what a torture! ;) a sweet torture! Who wouldn't want to look good during the special day right! Hoping that I look my best! ;) ;) ;) 

Enough said! In the office now, need to do some work! Its been a sleepy day today for me. Going out with Nana this evening to get some sushi that I've been craving for since last week! Handing over her invitation card to my E day! Miss her! Long time no see wo ~

Sudah dekat masa yg ditunggu, ada lebih kurang 2 minggu dari sekarang utk majlis Pertunangan..
Segala persediaan dri pihak MA dah cukup..Cuma tunggu masanye je..Rasa teruja bila dh makin dkt dgn tarikhnye..Insyallah semuanya akan berjalan lancar dgn izin ALLAH S.W.T.Amin.Seminggu sebelum MA dan keluarga ke KL, MA akan buat sedikit kenduri kesyukuran dan doa selamat.
Kenduri kesyukuran utk mak dan bak yg dh berkahwin selama 40 tahun..Alhamdulillah,wlpn kdg2 mak n bak ada sedikit salah fhm..Doa selamat utk MA ke kl nanti pada 15/6/2012 hari jumaat..
Maybe kali ni gerak awal sikit, sbb nak singgah Seremban dlu..Tu dlm perancangan la..tp x tau jd ke x..Hehe kalau smpi awal pn akak MA xde kat umah lg..so leh la bawak pelan2 n berenti kat mana2..Jln2 skali..


Apa lagi eh MA nk ngomel kat sini..Huhuhu, cam xde idea la plak..Mane tak nye..asek bz dgn keje je..Adoi,wat drawing preve neh x habis2 lg..ade je tukar lagi..dah penat tgk drawing preve..ade je improvement,huhu..


Barang hantaran da ready, skrg yg perlu ready adalah mental dan fizikal...Sbb byk lagi dugaan yg mendatang..MA berharap CY dan MA akan dpt menempuh segala rintangan yg dtg dgn tabah..

D : CY's E Day First Aid Kit V2

Assalammualaikum .. 

I hope that each and everyone of us is doing just fine & smiling all the way! Let's smile no matter what lies along the way. A great reminder for me too! Lately, I've been so tensed & stressed over 'stupid' clients & my 'moronic' boss! Seriously, if I could yell at them, I would've done that! At times, I did yell at MA as a way of relieving those tension. Bad huh? Indeed. Felt bad after all. That was what I call 'punching bag'! Ehiks. :)

OK! I promised that I'm going to talk about the 'hantaran' from me to my Tdy. It is quite an interesting part of the whole process. Even though I'm not the one who design the whole 7 set of 'hantaran', but I'm the one getting the most tension after all. Why? It goes back to the theme picking dilemma. Ahaha. It relates! It is!

I've got the theme color, namely Purple & Silver. So, I started searching for those talented peeps with very good pair of hands to design & prepare those beautiful 'hantaran' for me. I am glad to get this talented lady, Kak Siti, who designed my sister's 'hantaran'. It is a package. So, it is quite easy. One stop center!

I'll share the link of this wonderful lady with such great ideas.

Since my theme is Purple & Silver. I talked to her requesting her to come over to the house to discuss on the design & price. It came out quite affordable for me. 

In Malay customs, the groom will get the 'hantaran' from his future bride's side as gifts. The number of 'hantaran' differs for both sides. As what I saw those days, normally they will give each sides odd number of 'hantaran'. The bride will have to give more to the groom's side. Relevance? I am not so sure on that. Probably because the groom has to bear higher costs especially when it comes to the 'dowry'. :) 


In MA.CY's case, MA will give me 5 sets and I will give back to him 7 sets of 'hantaran'. I would love to share what are those sets:

p/s : I wonder why I can lose my weight! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It has to be the stress with the work! :(

OK. "Hantaran' : DONE. I've paid the deposit, the other half is to be paid on the day of delivery. Anxiously waiting for the 'merisik' day! I haven't seen my MA for more than a month. Seems so long hey. Anyway, I am so used to it. 


To me personally, long distance relationship is never harmful. As long as both parties are being mature in handling each situation. In my case, MA has to be the mature one, since I'm a bit more childish and stubborn! Missing each other is just another way of embracing the love! I get bored easily, so being in such relationship is a way of changing myself into a better person. A considerate and understanding person. I changed gradually I guess. :)


Got to go. Will update on the rest of the preparations later!

C : CY's E Day First Aid Kit V1 - DATE & THEME

Assalammualaikum .. 

Guess what? I've actually prepared most of my E Day's errands. It's pretty early to most of you, but it wasn't for me. :)

OK, should anybody asks me what is the 1st thing that popped out of my mind when it comes to the E Day, I would yelled out 'Theme!'.. ekeke .. I don't know but to me that is the most important part of the preparation apart from getting the cold hard cash ready to pay for all those jaw-dropping expenses! :) 

What is the theme of our E Day? Hell yeah! It is the most excruciating & pain experience when I had to cracked my head into pieces thinking of the theme color. It sounds scary right? Hehe. Indeed. it is scary to me! 

Our E Day Theme : Purple & Silver 

Don't ask me why I finally decided to choose those combinations of colors because I just don't have the idea why I came up with such eerie idea. :)

Almost every details on that day is going to be related to the theme. That is obvious right?! 

MA is having different theme for his 'hantaran'. We'll hear from him later. Hope he's willing to share his prep with us! 

The most important thing is of course the DATE! What's going to happen if there's no fixed date? It is going to be haywire, trust me! I did mention that on 7/4/12, MA & family will come over to my house to 'ask for hand in marriage (merisik)' from my beloved Abah. 

Initially the plan was different. At first, MA.CY planned that on 16/6/12, the ceremony is going to be 'merisik' & 'bertunang (engagement)' together at the same time. That is just a way to save costs & time! That was what we thought... Until ................ 

Until I went to JB to met up with MA's family.. That was when everything turned the other way round. :) it wasn't that bad actually, those so called 'improvisations' are a good one! Who would have thought that MA & family is going to come over for the 'merisik' session? I didn't think of that myself! Even my parents are surprised knowing that his parents are coming over. Anyway, that is how things should be done, that is what we call 'adat' or customs. This is so special among the Malays. Wedding & child birth is something that is being celebrated with all our heart. 

Those years, 'merisik' is a very common practice among the Malay society. The parents of the groom would come over to the bride's house to ask whether the daughter is still available. You might laugh reading that phrase, I just don't know how to put that into words! In Malay, we called it 'menyunting bunga di taman'. It is a very interesting moment for a lady, I guess! Probably it shows that a guy has been eyeing her for quite sometime. Wouldn't that makes any girl happy? Ehehe it sounds weird huh? Just my thought. 

In fact by right, the date of the E Day is to be discussed during the 'merisik' session. But! MA.CY are just SO keen to get the date before anything else! Ahaha. Please don't call us anxious ya. There are reasons why we both wanted to set the date 1st. We both are so damn BUSY with our work so we decided that fixing the date 1st would be better, so that we can start to prepare those chores relating to the E Day bit by bit. It is just like setting the goal. When we had the main goal up front, it would be easier to work & realizing those goals. Right? 

OK. Done talking about the DATE & THEME. In the next post, CY will be talking about the 'hantaran'! This is the exciting part. At least to me!

Sihatkah semua  #KasihSayangCinta CY? CY doakan semuanya indah² belaka buat semua..

Entri kali ni nak cakap pasal apa ek? Tetiba blur kejap! 

Apa itu Merisik? Nak tau kenapa tiba² CY nak cakap pasal 'merisik' ni? Semuanya sebab MA la! Tetiba ada satu hari ni, MA cakap yang bulan 4 nanti, MA & Family akan datang ke rumah untuk merisik CY. 

Errr errrrrrrrrrrr apakah? *buatbuatpening* 

Bak kata MA, CY ni memang pandai sangat berlakon. Boleh menang award katanya! Wah kembang kuncup jap hidung CY ekekeke.. Auwwww *malumaluhamster*

Berdebar ah pulak! Wakakaka macam tak percaya pulak CY debar! Kahkahkah.. Poyo aje yang lebih kan? Apa tu ek merisik tu? Mama cakap dia macam 'booking' la.. Owh centu rupanya! CY paham dah.. Macam kita nak beli kereta la kan? Ehiks.. 

7 April 2012 katanya MA akan datang ke 'banglo' family CY untuk merisik.. Wow cepatnya masa berlalu, ni dah nak masuk bulan 3 dah! Adoi.. Masak tak pandai lagi ni! Cemana? *panic @ poyo attack*..

Sebenarnya aritu MA de cakap yang bulan 6 tu nanti, akan merisik sekali ngan bertunang.. Alih² bulan 4 merisik dulu.. Pening jap CY! Ekeke.. Pernah dengar tak pening² lembu? Haaa tak pernah kan? CY pun tak pernah dengar! Tapi masa MA bagitau tu tetiba CY *pening pening lembu*.. Maksudnya pening tapi mau.. Tapi apa kena mengena dengan LEMBU?? Owh..nak tau sebabnya? Semua sebab hot case tu la.. Mana pergi sume lembu lembu lembu.. *lama tak makan beef steak*

CY ni kan sebenarnya, dah siapkan semuanya untuk E Day tu.. Macam² dah prepare! Ekeke.. Cepat gila kan? Macam poyo pun ada! Tapi kalau lambat² pun susah juga kan? Sekarang ni CY cuma perlu siapkan $$$ untuk bayar apa² yang patut untuk E Day nanti! Adooooiiiii *tepuk dahi* banyaknya nak pakai $$$! Seriously, kalau tak ada $$$, jangan la terfikir nak kawin.. Even untuk gegirl! Nak bertunang pun banyak pakai $$$ wooo ... CY selalu terfikirkan berapa la kos yang perlu MA tanggung untuk kawin ni! Perghhh mau pengsan! Ekeke.. 

MA pulak sibuk mintak saiz jari CY utk cincin risik tu nanti.. Adoi malasnya nk p Wah Chan, pura² nak beli dan try tanyakan saiz jari sendiri! Tapi CY akan gagahkan jua demi bakal Tunang tersayang.. *ayat gediks gatals*

A : The day it begins ..

Assalammualaikum .. 

Hai all ! Hope its a great day to all of you .. :) Who are you guys doing ? 

OK , this post is all about how the idea of E Day popped out ! I can't remember exactly when and how this begin . Probably need the long explanation from MA on how that actually took place ? I'll do anything to get him talking on this matter ! Haha . #cruel 

p/s : MA told me just now that he proposed me 3 days before I said YES to him . That YES is the most anticipated answer in his life , I suppose . Why ? Coz  that is when we officially MA + CY . The day I knew that MA is being serious by asking me to step in as part of his 'future' . Even before we're officially in a serious relationship . Thanks MA !

Hmm .. should I reveal the date ? In the previous post I did post what exactly happen during my trip to JB . MA & parents will come to my house this upcoming April to discuss on those things . I wonder what that discussion is all about hmmm ... Anyway , we'll see what's going to happen on that day ! #anxious

During my trip , MA & myself decided that the E Day to be held on 16.06.12 . Earlier we proposed the date to be 09.06.12 , but MA's sister isn't around on that date , therefore it is to be held at a later date (16.06.12) . So , on April MA's family will come to my house to let my parents know that the date has been fixed to 16.06.12 . 

Owemji that is like few months away .. Time flies fast and there's no room for me to take my own sweet time and chillax as I'm busy with my job and I'll have to do all the preparations myself . 

Its a BIG responsibility ! I'm a perfectionist , so everything has to be done beforehand and earlier as I don't favor any last minute prep . :) MA knows that very well . 

I'll keep updating this page with the progress . :)
